Roger Sherman was an American statesman and a Founding Father of the United States. He is the only person to have signed all four major American founding documents: the Continental Association, the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation, and the United States Constitution. Sherman played a significant role in the Great Compromise (Connecticut Compromise) during the Constitutional Convention. |
